In addition to watching lots of good tennis this weekend, we took a day trip with some friends to Westchester. One of our activities was to take a walk through a small family farm.
Now that Rosalie has stronger walking skills, we sometimes stroll hand-in-hand. It is a small mother/daughter moment that I love, but it also helps to keep her moving in the direction I need her to go (or, more accurately, keep her from moving in a direction I don't want her to go).

Sometimes, I have to resort to more heavy-handed parenting techniques. In this instance, Rosalie was storming straight towards the open mouth of a (ferocious looking) goat.

Without such restraint, she was very happy to stick her head as close to the animals as she could. (Notice how her friend, Lola, is running in fear while Rosalie happily tries to keep moving forward.)
