An (un)spring day in the park

We had a picnic in Propect Park today with some friends. Sam was sick and the weather was cold, but we found fun by flying some kites. 

The New Family Bike

It's amazing what you can buy secondhand from the family listservs in Brooklyn. I've been on the lookout for one of these since last summer. A friend emailed me the posting this morning and by the afternoon the bike (or tricycle actually) was ours! And not to worry, I went straight to the bike story to purchase a wee helmet for Sam after Marcee took this photo. This bike dramatically increases the radius we can reach in Prospect Park so we're looking forward to some (safe) summer fun.
