At one, Maxine is curious, determined and very good natured. It's hard to be mad when she skips a nap, unrolls all the toilet paper, or gives her entire dinner to Bexley because she does it all with a big, toothy grin and a silly laugh.
She is happiest when surrounded by "her people"--especially Sam and Rosie. They, in turn. are devoted to her. Never annoyed when she gets in their stuff, never getting mad when she ruins their games, and always stopping to pinch her cheeks or say hello.
She eats anything and everything--and I'm trying to avoid falling into the same traps I did with Rosie and Sam when she inevitably hits the picky eating phase. She is a fast crawler, can pull her self up, stands on her own for a few seconds, and is on the verge of taking those first steps. She can say, "hi" and "night night" and "nana" and will wave hello/goodbye and blow kisses.
She has a full head of dark. straight hair and has already had three haircuts! She has 4 teeth, which all appeared within a week or so of each other.
She is a lot of work, but truly a joy to have around
