New city, same ritual. Ever since Rosie & Sam were born, we have always had their joint birthday parties outdoors in Brooklyn. And for the last several years, we have had the party in Prospect Park. With the move to Minneapolis, we have a more than suitable replacement in Kenwood Park which is just a few blocks from our house and the same park where we had a kickball game on the morning of our wedding 10 years ago. Baby Maxine sat this one out (it was a scorcher of a day!) and napped at home with a babysitter. But Rosie and Sam had lots of their new friends from Breck while Marcee had many of her old friends from Blake (most of whom have kids the same age) in attendance. Big thanks to Uncle Matty, Gammy Peggy and Grandma Judy for all of their assistance with birthday party logistics. More pics to follow in the coming days.
