For the third consecutive year, we spent time this summer on the North Fork of Long Island. This year, the Shedroff family joined us all the way from Palo Alto. Despite a few days of overcast skies and rain, we had a lovely time playing at the farm, exploring the shore, eating picnics, playing mini-golf, riding the merry-go-round, flying kites and eating lots of food.
It was wonderful to watch Rosie, Benjamin, Rosie and Sam have the most fun playing together. Sam and Theo, in particular, were like Felix and Oscar from The Odd Couple. I love the video, above, about them bickering over whose turn it is at mini-golf when neither had any idea how to actually play the game.
