Stage Fright

Back in late January, Rosie's ballet class had their annual winter recital. Quite unexpectedly, Rosie got incredibly frightened when we arrived and she refused to dance with her class. No amount of comforting, coaxing or reasoning would change her mind. We decided to stay anyway and watch all of the performances. By the time they got to the finale (where all the kids come and leap across the stage), Rosie was ready to perform. I tried to talk to her afterwards to figure out what happened, but she refused to discuss it. Not a great day, but I was able to get a few shots of her.
