Rosie's First Suitor?

Details are still a bit fuzzy, but it seems Rosie may have her first suitor. See below pics for a necklace that her classmate David presented with after the winter holiday. Rosie is being pretty tight lipped about the whole situation! Stay tuned for details as the situation develops :)

Holiday Highlights!

Tomorrow marks the official end of the holiday period as Marcee & I return to our first full weeks of work and the kids head back to school. Before returning to our day to day routines, I just wanted to take a moment to step back and recap all the holiday fun we had as a family while Gammy Peggy was in town from X-Mas to New Year's.

1.  A trip to the Top of Rock to see one of NYC's most spectacular views.
2.  A lovely stroll on High Line followed by a tasty taco lunch at Chelsea Market.
3.  A trip to Broadway to see "Sideshow" w/one of the show's producers (and a backstage tour!)
4.  Brought in the New Year w/a midnight run in Prospect Park followed by fireworks (just Jon:)
5. A Buckeye victory in the Sugar Bowl over Alabama that we watched in its entirety w/family in LA and San Francisco via Skype so that we were all virtually taking in the game together.*
6. Multiple sleepovers (for Rosie) and multiple date nights (for Marcee & Jon).
7. A trip with the kids to MoMA (their first visit) to see the stunning Matisse Cut-Outs show.
8. Completed loads and loads of long awaited home improvement projects.
9. Watched multiple Muppet movies and other holiday fare w/the kids on the couch at home.
10.  Multiple trips to our new favorite local bakery "Baked in Brooklyn" for chocolate croissants!

*Ned & I are travelling to Dallas to take in the national championship game against Oregon.
