Disney Cruise 2016
Big thanks to Jon & Judy for the fabulous Disney Cruise we took over the February school break, and to Aunt Ahme for accompanying us. We boarded the Disney Fantasy cruise ship in Port Canaveral and were onboard the ship for 7 fun-filled days with 4 sea days and 3 shore days. Our port stops included a visit to Tortola in the British Virgin Island where we got to play with Dolphins; St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands where we spent the day at Megan's Bay--one of the world's most beautiful beaches; and, finally Castaway Cay which is Disney's own private island. Highlights of the trip included: watching the kids devour cone after cone of soft serve poolside and then again after dinner each night, being "made up" at Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique for the Pirate Night festivities, taking in movies and shows in the onboard theaters, Sam's hard fought victory in our lunch time game of old maid, numerous rides on the AquaDuck waterslide and lounging by the pool, dinner at the Animator's Palette & the Enchanted Garden, the Royal Court prince and princess tea party, breakfast in Grandma and Papa's stateroom and solving interactive cases with the midship detective agency. But most of all it was just great to spend quality time with the extended Harris family. Below are a few pictures which tell the story of the trip better than any words could. And you can also click here to see even more.
