Touchdown Dance

Playing football in the yard, which has become a recent pre- and post-school routine, is basically Jon's platonic ideal of parenting. And, Sam's touchdown dance is pretty catchy!

Rosie on Ice

Twice per year, Rosie's class does ice skating as their PE unit for three weeks. Parents volunteer to come help tie and untie the skates. It appears to take the kids 15 mins to put on all of their winter gear, 15 mins to take the bus to the ice rink, 15 mins to put on their skates, 15 mins to actually skate and then 45 mins to do all the pre-skating tasks in reverse. It's a lot of effort for very little skate time. Regardless, the kids all seemed incredibly excited to do it. It was pretty fun to watch, too. Rosie is in the purple jacket and pants (obvs) and a blue helmet.
