Rosie's Art Show

Guest Lecturer
As Jon previewed this morning, Ahme visited Rosie's Pre-K class and taught a lesson about how a play is made. It was incredibly adorable--and educational. She taught them about all the people who create a play (the actors, playwright, set designer, costume designer, prop master and director) and took the kids through an activity for each role to help them understand what everyone does. She ended the class by having the kids perform a 5 second play ("Boil, boil toil and trouble"), take a bow and scream, "Thank you Brooklyn, and good night!".
This video shows the activity that illustrates what the playwright does. The kids go off the rails a little bit (as 4 year olds tend to do), but they were totally into it.

Sam's First Haircut (DIY)
Sam's hair was in dire need of a trim. We have not so much as touched on of his curly locks for the his first 20 months. Rather than take him to a kiddie stylist, just decided to snip a few locks DIY style.
