Marcee & I spent Hanukkah in Hawaii with Jon, Judy & Amy. We went to the island of Kauai and stayed in the town of Hanalei. We rented a house that was 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from town. It was quite the set-up. Highlights of the trip included a helicopter ride around the island, double rainbows, surfing lessons with Amy, kayaking/zip-lining/hiking with Marcee, a rousing game of Farkel, the Beach House Restaurant for Jon & Judy's 38th anniversary and ample time relaxing both on the beach and at home. We capped off our trip with one day on Oahu to see my college friends Will & Ayyana. Already starting to plot next year's holiday vacation.
