"Social smiling" seems to be a major milestone for babies in the 5-7 week range. Rosalie has begun to smile in the past few days, but it's usually followed by some bodily function, making us wonder how social in nature it is. Social or not, it's a development we are enjoying a lot. Watch and decide for yourself...

Very cute!!! I can't really figure out the "social" part of the equation either - looks like she is mostly confused by her tongue. Either way, it certainly elicits a social smile from us adults!
